This syrup contains coconut which creates its own natural oil. When coconut milk is combined with our syrup we find at times that the coconut oil created can separate within the syrup causing it to appear to have a “chunky” texture, this is normal and should not cause to raise alarm. If the texture is bothersome we recommend straining through a strainer, though it should melt back down when added to hot beverages. If the texture changes further please reach out to us.
